About us

Divorce is a common occurrence in many countries around the world, affecting millions of families and children each year. In Africa and other continents, nearly 50% of marriages end in divorce, with approximately 1.5 million children experiencing parental divorce annually. Children and teenagers who experience parental divorce are at increased risk of negative outcomes, such as lower academic achievement, behavioral problems, mental health issues, and difficulties forming and maintaining relationships.

Recognizing the significant impact of divorce on young people’s lives, there is a growing need for organizations to provide support, resources, and guidance to children and teenagers affected by divorce. My Voice Organization is dedicated to addressing this need by working to reduce the negative impacts of divorce on young people’s lives through holistic and evidence-based approaches that take into account their social, emotional, and academic needs.

60% of kids go through divorce and become homeless while 40% stay with relatives but are not safe. 16 out of 60% join different groups negatively whereas the other 24 out of 60% drop out of school. 9 out of 60% commit suicide and 11 out of 60% remaining get traumatized.
